What we offer

BTEB offers a whole-school curriculum(Reading, writing, speaking and Listening) from the age of 5. The learning framework and examinations are designed for the learners to gain working knowledge of the Language and the experience on how to use the Tamil Language effectively in different situations. BTEB provides an express learning program for adult learners. The curriculum supports and publishes guide books to the learners to gain GCSE and GCE(AL) qualifications offered by the Cambridge Examination board.

Our objectives

The main objective of BTEB is to conduct workshops, enabling the Tamil Schools in Europe to apply modern and efficient teaching practices in language skills. In the past number of workshops have been held and we have planned to conduct series of workshops at various locations, convenient to the students and teachers throughout Western countries. BTEB works towards the aim to obtain accreditation to the BTEB qualifications by the approved institutions in the United Kingdom.

Our achievements

BTEB emerged in 2014 after the suspension of ASSET Language examinations developed and accredited in UK by OCR(Oxford Cambridge and RSA) in 2012 to continue and conduct similar examinations and award the certificates to the successful students. Qualified students of the BTEB have proved themselves as Tamil Language teachers in communities in the Western countries. Since 2014 the number of member schools and the number of candidates are steadily growing.
